Biography:

Ellis has lived in Greenville since 1960, graduating from Wade Hampton High School in 1966 and North Greenville University in 1995. He is married to Jonnie Beddingfield, and they have three grown sons and six grandchildren.

He was in the business world for 20 years and went into the ministry in 1988. He was a youth pastor for nine years at Pendleton Street Baptist Church. He founded Central Community Ministries in 2001 and serves as Executive Director. He is also on the board of Greenville Area Interfaith Hospitality Network (GAIHN) and serves as president of its Board.

Central Community Ministries Identifies needs, Mobilizes volunteers, and Shares the love of Jesus through those volunteers.
