Diligent Hands Gracious Hearts is a nondenominational Christian ministry providing free basic home/lawn maintenance and fellowship to elderly/handicapped citizens in the Greenville area. It is their objective to meet many of the homeownership needs that arise for these individuals with the purpose of sharing God's love. "Our partnership with City Church (formally Crossroads) has been a model for other churches to follow as we at Diligent Hands Gracious Hearts have been loved on, swamped with volunteers, and supported with both prayer and finances. Each month City Church sends volunteers to help us with our lawn program, and our rehab program. We cut grass, rake leaves, build wheelchair ramps, repair ceilings, paint houses, and anything that is a need we attempt to plug volunteers in.

"This church partner "Get's it". They have bought in to what Jesus intended the church to be, "the hands and feet of Jesus". There are other churches in the area that "get it" as well and it is really cool to see churches evolve into the churches that God wants them to be. The ones that are dying are the ones that still don't "get it". Our prayer at Diligent Hands Gracious Hearts is that God will allow us to help as many churches as possible to go through the process of "getting it". Can you imagine what God could do not only here in Greenville, but all over the world if churches started to "get it"? The possibilities are amazing!!
